We're still alive!! I've just been so exhausted lately and I've had no inspiration or drive to pick up my camera let alone blog. Hoping that will change soon!
Until then here are a few photos.
Have a great weekend!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you moms out there celebrating. I hope you're all having an awesome day.
I must admit 3 years ago, when I was pregnant with Little Bird, I wasn't sure what kind of mother I would be or if I could even be a good mom. Mainly because growing up, kids were never really part of my 'future plan'. I wanted to grow old and be a crazy, dog lady haha. But honestly, being a mother has changed me and my life so much and I wouldn't change it for the world.
My own mom is the strongest woman I know. She has been through so much and even if things our rough she'll do what it takes to make sure her kids are alright. I mean one of the best moments I've had with her is when I was in labor with Little Bird. She was living in CA and I was in AZ at the time. She dropped work and everything else she had scheduled and drove 5+ hours that night to make sure she was there for me. If she just feels like seeing any of her kids just because she will fly them from or fly to them from New York, Florida, Kentucky, or wherever we are. I think she is this way because of her battle with cancer and she realizes how short life really is. I appreciate it how much she does for us and how hard she works to make sure we're happy and successful in whatever we choose to do. We may get in our moods where we ignore each other for a few days but that's because we're so much alike. My mom is the most amazing person I know so she of all people really deserves this day!
But yeah I hope you all are having a great day. :)
Today marks 6 months since marrying the love of my life. Now normally I don't countdown half years, quarter of the years, etc. or whatever. The only time we've done that was the first year we started dating which was 7 years ago lol. But this is our first year of marriage and some days I just like going back and reliving that day because it was hands down one of the best days of my life (other than giving birth to my baby girl). I won't spam you with a bunch of wedding photos as I'll save that for our one year anniversary haha.
But I felt the need to share this. :)
So with the inspiration of some instagram friends I've decided to really make it a point to at least try to live a healthy lifestyle for myself and in turn inspire my own child to.
My biggest issue is unhealthy snacks. David tends to buy a lot of junk and comes home with it and I'm just sitting there with it staring in my face late a night and I kind of just go on a binge once Little Bird is in bed. It's terrible! So the first thing I've done is replaced all the cookies, chips and ice creams with healthy snacks and food that I can snack on when I'm get a little hungry. My next hurdle is to eat more meals but smaller portions. I normally tend to just eat when I get really hungry and when that happens I tend to eat more than I should. Shame on me! Not only that I've been trying to find 'clean' recipes of foods we like to eat so it's not just snacking.
Also I'm going to start doing pilates again. I did it throughout high school and loved it. I might try some other things as well so we'll see. I'll probably go more into this later down the road though.
I've tried to lead a healthy lifestyle ever since having Little Bird and every once in a while I just tend to stop for whatever reason and lose all motivation. I'm really hoping this time is it for me because I really need this change! But yeah, if you have any other suggestions for me please let me know! I'd really appreciate it. :)
